Tetakawi Tango is a mixed media piece done in San Carlos, Mexico. My temporary studio over looked the beautiful bay with hillside homes on the side of Mount Tetakawi. The palette is inspired by the fiery sunsets over her peak. It was accepted into Colorado Watercolor Society’s “On the Wild Side” exhibition hosted at the People’s Building Gallery, in Aurora. Tetakawi Tango received an award from show juror, Kathleen Conover.
